Lake Forest College Students Present Art Gallery


Lake Forest, Ill.—The Lake Forest College Art Department presents the Tenth Annual Katherine Filson Covington Exhibit, “Sonnenschein off the Walls.” The exhibition will be in the Durand Art Institute on the College’s North Campus, near the intersection of Deerpath and Sheridan roads. The exhibit will be on display from Thursday, November 21 until Tuesday, December 10.

The gallery will be open on the 21st from 8-10 p.m. and will be open from 2:30–5 p.m. daily, thereafter. The Katherine Filson Covington Memorial was established in 1992 and honors Covington’s association with the College and her interest in the arts. The Memorial was founded by her husband, John, the Willett Foundation, and friends of Mrs. Covington. Art students from the College will curate the exhibits.
