"Corporate Governance: Who Monitors the Managers?"
Lake Forest College Women’s Board Seminar Series


Lake Forest, Ill.–The Lake Forest College Women’s Board introduces a series of four seminars titled "The New Century: Confronting Challenging Dilemmas." The first seminar in the series, "Corporate Governance: Who Monitors the Managers?" will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 9 a.m. in Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel at Lake Forest College. The keynote speaker will be Associate Professor of Economics at Lake Forest College, Jeffrey O. Sundberg.

Seminars will be held Thursdays at 9 a.m. through November 14. Tickets can be purchased for the entire Women’s Board Seminar Series for $60, or are available for $20 per lecture at the door. For more information contact (847) 735-6015. Titles of the upcoming lectures are: "Reproductive and Therapeutic Cloning: Understanding the Issues" (10/31); "Homeland Security v. Civil Liberties: A False Dichotomy?" (11/07); and "Image vs. Reality: How Objective is the Media?" (11/14).
