"Globalization and the Search for a New World Order"


Lake Forest, Ill. – Geographer James Marran will present a lecture titled, "Globalization and the Search for a New World Order" at Lake Forest College on Tuesday, October 8 at 7:30 pm. Marran, consultant to the Illinois Board of Education, has also served as the Geography Chairperson for the National Council for the Social Studies.

The talk will take place in Meyer Auditorium in Hotchkiss Hall on the Middle Campus of Lake Forest College. The event is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by the American Association of University Women (Deerfield and Mid-Lake County Branches) and the College’s Office of Community Education.

Lake Forest College is a private liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,300 students representing 44 states and 43 other countries.
