Member of the Federal Reserve Speaks at College Lake Forest, Ill – Lake Forest College invites the public to attend a talk by Edward M. Gramlich, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, on Friday, April 12 at 4 p.m. in Meyer Auditorium. Gramlich will speak on "Macroeconomic Policy in Recessions, and at other Times." Prior to his position with the Federal Reserve, Dr. Gramlich served as Dean of the School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. He is the author of several books and many articles on such topics as macroeconomics, budget policy, income redistribution, fiscal federalism, social security, and the economics of professional sports. Meyer Auditorium is located in Hotchkiss Hall on the College’s middle campus. There is no charge for admission. For more information please call 847-735-6010.
