Lake Forest Lyrica Closes Season with a Performance by the Pacifica Quartet



Lake Forest, Ill – Lake Forest Lyrica closes its eight season on Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. with a performance by the Pacifica Quartet. The concert will be held at Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel on the campus of Lake Forest College at College and Sheridan Roads in Lake Forest.

Heralded as one of today’s most dynamic and exciting young string quartets, the Pacifica Quartet has built an enviable reputation for its brilliant ensemble work and exhuberant and impassioned interpretations. Formed in 1994, the Pacifica Quartet burst onto the scene when it captured three of the natio’s most important awards, including the Naumburg Chamber Award.

The program will include Quartet in A minor, op. 13 by Felix Mendelssohn, Quartet in F, op.59#1 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and the world premiere of Renascence by Rami Levin.
