"Compassion and the Limits of Patriotism"



Lake Forest, Ill – Martha Nussbaum, professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago, will speak on "Compassion and the Limits of Patriotism" at Lake Forest College on Monday, March 26 at 4 p.m. in Meyer Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. Meyer Auditorium is located in Hotchkiss Hall on the College’s Middle Campus, at the intersection of College and Sheridan Roads in Lake Forest. Professor Nussbaum received her BA from NYU and her MA and PhD from Harvard. She has taught at Harvard, Brown, and Oxford Universities and is currently the Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago Law School
