Lake Forest, Ill – The Garrick Players of Lake Forest College will present Playwrights-in-Progress XXI, an annual student-run and produced festival featuring new plays and performance pieces created by student playwrights and creative artists. Performances will be held Thursday, March 21–Saturday, March 23, beginning at 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. A discussion with the writers, directors, and performers will follow the Friday production. All performances will be held in the Allan Carr Theater, located in Hixon Hall on the College’s South Campus, near the corner of Maplewood and Sheridan Roads in Lake Forest. The public is encouraged to attend and reservations are strongly recommended. General admission tickets are $7, tickets for senior citizens and students with ID are $3. The performances are free to Lake Forest College students, faculty and staff. For more information or to make reservations, please call 847-735-5216.
