Lecture by Eric Foner
"The Fiery Trial: Abraham Lincoln and Slavery”
Dr. Foner is the DeWitt Clinton Professor of History at Columbia University and specializes in the Civil War and Reconstruction, slavery, and 19th-century America

Featuring a world premier of a piece by Composer in Residence Rami Levin, "Lincoln Quintet," with The Gettysburg Address narrated by Prof. Clayton Gray during the third movement
