Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics
Lake Forest College seeks a physicist committed to excellent undergraduate instruction. The successful candidate will be able to teach in the classroom and laboratory at all levels in our physics curriculum, including our general education astronomy course and its laboratory. This is a one-year appointment with the possibility for renewal. A Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics is required. The Department of Physics has research programs in electronic, atomic, and molecular collisions; quantum optics and laser spectroscopy; granular materials; and photonics and holography.
